What do you do after you get a load of free books? You know … like you did last week. ;)
Here’s what I did first. Many of the books were Amazon only, so for those books, I sort them into shelves. Yep, I don’t have one huge to-be-read list. I have five TBR lists.
How do I sort them? Why, by length, of course. That way, I know which list to go to to find a book that will fit the length of time I have for reading.
These are my categories.
Some of those books have been waiting there a while, because often, if I read a book I really like and it’s part of a series, I go looking for box sets of the series to read. :)
You may also notice that I have fewer books on the longer length lists. That’s because I prefer shorter books, and because so many of the books that I’ve found interesting just happen to be in the 200 pages or so length.
I think I’ve read 5 books from the promo. Four were very short, and one was a bit longer… and it was my fav of the ones I’ve read so far. It was The Comeback by Ranee S. Clark, and it was sports romance inspired by Jane Austen’s Persuasion. And I like sports romance and Jane Austen.
It’s now been moved to may Sweet Contemporary shelf on my Kindle so I know I have read it.
How about you? What was your favourite read so far? And how do you handle your TBR?
